Admission to ABLE classes is easy and open to most adults. You can attend whichever class location and time that is most convenient for you. All classes are FREE.
Before you begin class, new students must sign up for a start date. You can do this by completing the enrollment form on this website, or contacting us by phone.
- Must be 18 years old to enroll without restrictions. (See below for enrollment policy minors.)
- Cannot be enrolled or legally required to be enrolled in secondary school (high school).
- We can serve adults who already have a high school diploma, GED, or even college as long as they aren't currently enrolled in the same academic subject in a college and show academic need.
- Unable to read, write, or speak the English language.
*16 and 17 year old students may be eligible to attend, but must be officially withdrawn from school and have the consent of their parent or guardian. We strongly encourage minor students and their parents to consult with their high school guidance staff and consider other options before withdrawing from high school. There may be support services that are available to students in the K-12 system that are not available to adults once you withdraw. There are restrictions in the state of Ohio that may prevent minors from being eligible to test.
